CAMPAIGN: Child Health Now
Last year 8.8 million children under the age of five died, most from preventable illnesses like diarrhoea, pneumonia and malaria.
At least two thirds of these lives could have been saved with simple, low-cost solutions, like clean water and sanitation facilities.
World Vision's Child Health Now campaign calls for an end to the health crisis that is killing millions of children each year. What's needed is determined and coordinated action from governments all over the world.
Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDS
The threats posed by HIV and AIDS are redefining childhood. In 2008, 280,000 children under the age of 15 died because of AIDS.

Campaign: Health and education for all
Every day in developing countries, teachers, doctors and nurses are changing people's lives. But millions of people are still missing out:
- 72 million children can't go to school and
- Every day 1,400 women die needlessly in pregnancy and child birth.
This has to change.
